January 31 life is good/ life is great!Hello OUT THERE! How goes life? Welp Clarissa is finally rid of the flu. THank GOodness. School is fun! I get to take classes that are actually what I am majoring in. It's a lot more work than community college, but worth the effort!
What's new? Clarissa is having her 3rd b-day soon! I hope its a good one! We are having it at her Tia Lorena's house. Her cousins will be there of course and family. It should be fun! :-) She has a bit of a cough and I hope she gets rid of it before her birthday because it is causing her to be quite cranky.
If i could go back and do my life over again. I would finish school before having a child. :-)
Anyways....... just a quick note January 26 School is back in session Hello! So here's the update on me, myself & I. I knew without a doubt I would be accepted to Cal State University since I have an outstanding GPA and was already accepted to UCSB, but changed my mind about attending. However, it took forever to get accepted because Ventura College lost my transcripts. So that was a nightmare, but I did get accepted just a few days before classes started on 1/23/06. YIPPEE! Now I am crashing all my classes to get in and so far I've gotten into all of them, just one more to crash and we're in there! :-) So I'm a psychology major for those of you that don't know, and I'm taking 4 classes at Cal State University in Camarillo. They are Cognition & Learning, Developmental Psych, History & Systems of Psychology, & Clinical & Abnormal Psych. I am also taking one class at Ventura College Intro to Political Science. I have to take this class to fulfill Cal State's requirements, but taking it at VC gives me a 50% discount off of Clarissa's (my daughter) daycare. So its worth doing, plus I may actually learn something. So that's school .....and I'm so excited that I get to take ALL psychology classes now!Clarissa my daughter, who is turning 3 in a few weeks has been very ill with the flu. Infact, she's had the flu since Tuesday the 17th. We were really worried for her because its just not normal to vomit for that long. Well its not normal to vomit at all I suppose, but for a week and a half my poor baby. She did so good they had her take an x-ray to make sure she didn't have phnemonia, and she didn't so that's good news. Thankfully It subsided, but now she has a cold with a cough. She's been out of school for 2 weeks and my amazing boyfriend has taken time off work so I could go to my classes to add. Isn't he special? One last thing they want to check on her is to make sure she doesn't have a kidney infection so we are awaiting those results, but the doctor doesn't think its very likely. Clarissa goes to preschool part time. She is enrolled in ballet, soccer & gymnastics. She's a busy girl. :-) She is a brilliant, sweet, loving girl. She wants to be good and do good. She is a mini-me.... hence the brilliance...... LOL.
Work is good. I LOVE my job for the simple fact that they work around my schedule and I don't have to deal with office drama. OH Did I mention I get paid really well too? If I worked full time I would be shopping all the time. |
